Château de Mappe
Appartement cinq
You can rent bicycles from Vidauban, if you cannot bring your own.. We also have five bicycles available for renters to use: the cave, along with three helmets, a floor pump, and a few useful tools. Although fairly basic, they are a good for gentle riding
Below you will find a selection of routes you can do by just heading out the gates. The road outside sometimes has fast traffic but, if you go right, and then turn towards Saint Antonin, you will quickly find yourself on slower roads. At Saint Antonin, you can join the EuroVelo. Turn right for Athens and left for Cadiz. You will need legs for all these rides, or an electric bike.

I love doing this ride in the morning, looking across the valley as I head out of Lorgues and then climbing to the spectacular village of Tourtour and having a coffee before the descent, which is mostly downhill.

This starts along the EV8 from Saint Antonin, then goes through Villecroze for an ascent to Tourtour from 'behind' that is quieter than the one I usually do.
