At Mappe, tranquillity and beauty are guaranteed: the château looks out onto vineyards and rolling hills. All but two of the 11 residences are owned as second homes: so you’ll meet relatively few people, and will often find you are the only ones in the pool or wanting the tennis court
THE SWIMMING POOL
Our 15 metre swimming pool is very mild salt water: a huge improvement on chlorine - your eyes don't sting and your hair stays soft, With views of vineyards and the hills, it's a beautiful suntrap - with plentiful loungers
THE TENNIS COURT
The tennis court is discretely hidden, with an all-weather surface that is used throughout the year by keen tennis players. It is impeccably maintained.
THE BOULES COURT
We've a set of boules in the apartment, and the boule court is under a large, spreading tree: so fine for midday games in the shade or floodlit ones after supper
